Season of Giving

With the holiday season upon us, we want to remind you that there are many in our community who are still struggling to survive the negative financial impact of this pandemic. 2020 has been especially challenging, and during these last few months of the year, we need your help to reach our fundraising goals to provide financial support, essential care items and joyful memories to as many families as we are able to reach through our Season of Giving outreach efforts.

The giving Tree

Every holiday season, the PlumpJack Foundation and Balboa Cafe host an annual Giving Tree fundraiser benefitting Holy Family Day Home. All funds raised are used to purchase gifts for the families of Holy Family Day Home so they have the opportunity to give gifts to their children. It goes without saying that 2020 has been a tough year, especially for families in our community who were already battling, or on the verge of, homelessness. Now more than ever it is essential that we support those most at-risk, and make this an extra festive holiday for the students of Holy Family Day Home. 

Essential items: holiday wish list

The number of families Holy Family Day Home serves who are at risk due to insecure housing and extreme financial need has risen during the pandemic from 48 to 65 families. This year, the PlumpJack Foundation is partnering with Holy Family Day Home on the Holiday Wish List initiative in an effort to provide at-risk families with essential and personal care items through the holiday season. To support, shop from our HFDH Holiday Wish List on Amazon and our team will create care packages for each family in need.

Help us raise funds for The Hidden Genius Project as one of PlumpJack’s actionable steps in supporting the BLM movement. Starting this July, 10% of all Gift Card sales through 2020, good at any PlumpJack property, will go to this deserving organization that trains and mentors black male youth in technology creation, entrepreneurship, and leadership skills. 

Meet This Moment

Right now, thousands of families are in a real crisis to meet basic needs, like food, shelter, hygiene products, clothes and more. Please help us Meet This Moment and offer immediate funds to help those in need. This is an everyday need, but is more dire under the current COVID-19 circumstances. Thank you for your consideration, your donation will include a special gift of limited release Meet This Moment apparel.  

Plumpjack Business contributions

In addition to supporting the PlumpJack Foundation’s large-scale fundraisers, each property in the PlumpJack Portfolio is responsible for raising additional funds and hosting smaller scale campaigns the benefit the Foundation.
