Black Lives Matter

PlumpJack needs to be better and needs to do more in terms of our efforts to combat the racial injustice and inequality that exists in America. Like so many others, our first step is education, and the next step is action. Today we're sharing the first step in a series that we, as a company, will be taking as we continue to move through this journey of education, action and enlightenment. We want our community to be part of that journey and we hope that we can continue the conversation with our network around racial injustice and how PlumpJack can be part of the solution.

At PlumpJack, we are grieving the senseless murder of George Floyd. Racism is a stain on our nation that must be eradicated. We should not and cannot tolerate this kind of systematic oppression any longer. PlumpJack is committed to rejecting the ugliness of racial prejudice and improving our corporate culture, civic culture, and national culture to better reflect our deeply-held values of inclusion and diversity. We have to do better. Black Lives Matter.

Our first actionable step is supporting and committing funds from the PlumpJack Foundation to East Oakland Youth Development Center. We are committed to additional actions and sharing those with our audience.
