Black History Month | The Hidden Genius Project
Join the PlumpJack Foundation in our effort to raise awareness and funds to support The Hidden Genius Project an Oakland-based organization that mentors Black male youth in technology creation, entrepreneurship, and leadership skills. For the month of February, we will be donating a portion of the proceeds from select items–including beverages, hotel stays, merch, and more– across all PlumpJack-owned and operated businesses.

The Hidden Genius Project trains and mentors Black male youth in technology creation, entrepreneurship, and leadership skills to transform their lives and communities. Their students are working towards, a future where their genius is celebrated, realized, and shines every day and is no longer hidden, suppressed, or belittled.
WHy technology?
STEM employment opportunities have become the fastest-growing segment of jobs in the U.S, with 71 percent of which involving computing. At The Hidden Genius Project, they prepare Black male youth to participate in and meaningfully contribute to the 21st Century, global, tech-economy.
